Francisco lives in a small village of Pakil Laguna in the Philippines. He is a master carver of over 20 years. He is a father of 10 children, all of which are artists. In his woodshop in the Philippines he works along side his Wife Maxima and his children. When Francisco was a young boy he worked as a finisher meaning he would use sand paper to smooth the wood carvings. By observing and through the help of his brother, who taught him how to carved wood, little by little he learned how to carve until he became a master wood carver. This has been his livelihood until now. This is his way to make money and provide for his families needs.
